Awards and Honors: Member, Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honor Society NSF-GRFP Honorable Mention, 2007 NSF-EAPSI Fellowship recipient, Summer 2008 Research: My current research focuses on using fluorescently-labeled nucleosomes as biosensors for studying estrogen receptor binding kinetics. In a broader context, our lab employs single-molecule techniques such as smFRET to study the dynamics of DNA-protein interactions.
