• Biography published in The National Dean’s List®, 2004/2005 as a student at Drexel University, one of the highest academic honors bestowed on college students.
• Teaching Assistant Excellence Award - Received award for outstanding teaching from College of Arts and Sciences, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA (2003-04).

Research:
My present research efforts are on investigating the structure-function relationships in metabotropic glutamate receptor type 6 (mGluR6) a G-protein coupled receptor selectively expressed in the retina using both computational and biophysical tools. My thesis works involves identifying novel orthosteric and allosteric ligands for mGluR6 and investigate their effects on mGluR6 structure and function.
